The Lake County Trustee’s Office continually strives to find and offer new services to benefit our taxpayers. We believe this new service will prove to be extremely beneficial locally as well as statewide.

We encourage you to explore our website and contact us with any suggestions or comments that you may have. We look forward to hearing from you. Current property taxes are due and payable beginning the first Monday in October through the last day of February of each year. Current "2007" taxes became delinquent on March 1, 2008. Penalty and interest will be added at the rate of 1 1/2% per month to unpaid taxes. Our office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm for your convenience. Ask us about our easy partial payment plan.
